Female Wave of Change welcomes Viola Edward into her Circle of Wise Women
Female Wave of Change is very excited to welcome Viola Edward (based in Cyprus) into her Circle of Wise Women. Viola was already involved with our global movement as a storyteller, a publicist and and breathing expert at our Global Conference 2020. We are looking forward to an even stronger collaboration and be able to tap into her wisdom to create those waves of change.
Viola is a multi-award-winning senior business consultant, personal advisor, and expert in self-development with more than forty years of experience. She specializes in transcultural psychotherapy and breathwork mentoring and training. She is a social entrepreneur, Founder of Feminine Capital Forum & Systemic Breathing, Co-founder/owner of GRIT Academy and Kayana Systemic Consulting. She serves as a Global Ambassador for Human Rights and for Gender Equity.
She is also a mentor, a recognized international speaker, supporter of various global conferences, author of two books, “Breathing the Rhythm of Success” and “Who Makes the Bed?” and co-author of ten more. Viola holds multiple board positions in the non-profit sector and she also the Honorary President of – Fashion for a Cause – “Charity on Wheels” by Winky Singh – empowering the forgotten population – of women in prison. Viola sits at the editorial board of six magazines in English, Spanish and Arabic.
Bridging the space between breathwork therapy and business management
She has been pioneering and developing mental health fitness and wellbeing in the workplace since the nineties, bridging the space between breathwork therapy and business management. She now works internationally with individual and corporate clients in a cross-pollination between self-development, management, and leadership. As a creative entrepreneur, she is a synergist, developing innovative schemes.
In 1993, at the age of thirty-four, after years of undertaking extensive studies in the field of Transpersonal Psychotherapy, followed by experiential trainings in Meditation and Breathwork and Mentoring, Viola had the grit to let go her corporate career to follow her dream.
She has received numerous recognitions for her pioneering work including the Doctorate Honoris Causa, Aspirational Woman and Outstanding Contribution to Mentoring awards.
Viola is particularly valued for her intuition, experience, integrity and creativity. Viola is Middle East origin, she emigrated with her family from Lebanon to Venezuela in early seventies, she is married and lives in Cyprus since 2003. She is engaged with the SDGs 4, 5 and 17.
